We provide comprehensive psychological evaluations for individuals ages 2 - 80+ to diagnose a variety of mental health and neurodevelopmental conditions. In this role, your primary duties will be to manage appointments at our evaluation desk, communicate with clients and staff, collect client payments, and ensure the efficient coordination, documentation, and processing of evaluation-related tasks. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive information in compliance with healthcare privacy standards. This position would be full-time, in person, Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm at our Latham office. Reliable transportation to and from the office is required. Job Responsibilities Communicate with clients, families, and staff regarding scheduling and required documentation via phone, email, and in person. Upload, scan, and manage documents within the electronic health record (EHR) system. Assist evaluation providers with administrative tasks related to the evaluation process. Maintain organized and accurate evaluation-related records and documentation. Assist with the preparation, organization, and processing of evaluation materials. Monitor provider availability and assist with scheduling evaluation appointments. Creating invoices for services and collecting client payments. Assist with components of the evaluation process such as administering self-questionnaires to clients, uploading assessments, and distributing final reports. Tracking and updating information across several platforms. Maintain professional and respectful communication in all client interactions with sensitivity to confidential information. Assist with managing office supplies, inventory, and general administrative needs. Work with the larger evaluation team and attend team meetings. Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree or 2 - 3 years of work experience in healthcare, psychology, social sciences, or a related field 1 - 2 years of experience working in an administrative position Proficient computer skills (experience with Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets preferred) Clear background check Excellent verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information Excellent time-management skills and multitasking ability Strong organizational skills Must have good interpersonal skills and contribute positively to the team environment Physical Requirements This position requires sitting for long periods of time as well as some bending, lifting, and standing. Preferred skills and qualifications Familiarity with health insurance and/or medical billing Familiarity with electronic health records
