Job Description

Day Habilitation Administrator Bridges Day Program As the Day Habilitation Program Administrator, you will manage the day-to-day operations of a day hab program. You will ensure services and program environments are of the highest quality to promote maximum integration into the community. You will manage diverse duties and multiple priorities, and maintain effective relationships with people supported, families, staff, and other internal/external departments. You must possess strong initiative, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to be creative, while managing multiple priorities in our Day Hab Program. Specifically, as the Day Hab Administrator you will:

Monitor the quality of the Day Habilitation services, as well as the maintenance and appearance of the program site, to ensure services and program environment are of the highest quality. Promote the ongoing development of meaningful activities and community participation activities and ensure consistent implementation in all program areas.

Design and monitor systems, which promote organizational efficiencies as well as compliance with ACLD policies, procedures and governmental regulations.

Oversee the staff hiring, training, supervision, and development. Ensure staff are supported and provided with the tools and resources necessary to be successful in completing job responsibilities and staff is well informed by facilitating regularly scheduled staff meetings.

Ensure provision of service in compliance with all internal and regulatory quality assurance and corporate compliance standards. Review and ensure accurate weekly billing through Evero. Coordinate Incident Reporting and Review.

Develop and manage income and expense budgets to ensure the fiscal integrity of program.

Participate in the development of new program initiatives as well as current and future agency-wide initiatives.

Monitor program census and attendance statistics to ensure budgetary goals are met. We are seeking a candidate passionate about the field of Autism with the following prerequisites:

Associates degree or 64 college credits required. Bachelors degree in the field of Human Services preferred.5 years experience working with adults with developmental disabilities. In-depth knowledge of clinical supports needed to ensure the success of each program participant.3 years supervisory experience. Knowledge of OPWDD systems and regulations is essentialThe ability to obtain/maintain/perform SCIP (Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention) Certification and First Aid/CPR. Clean, valid NYS drivers license.
