Job Description
Advanced Comfort Technologies, a family-owned HVAC and plumbing contractor, is looking for an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time, in-office position in a small, collaborative environment. Organization, accuracy, and follow-through are extremely important in this role. We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing things correctly, communicates well, and can manage multiple responsibilities without letting details fall through the cracks. Responsibilities Answer phones and provide friendly, professional customer service Perform general data entry and maintain accurate records Assist with scheduling and day-to-day office coordination Process and organize paperwork Review information for accuracy and follow up on missing or incomplete items Maintain organized electronic and physical files Communicate with customers, vendors, field employees, and management Provide general administrative support as needed Qualifications Previous office, administrative, or customer service experience required Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail Ability to complete work accurately and double-check details Strong follow-through and ability to meet deadlines Dependable and punctual Friendly and professional communication skills Comfortable handling customer concerns professionally Able to take initiative and follow up when information is needed Comfortable asking questions or seeking help when something is unclear Able to stay organized and accurate despite interruptions Comfortable using computers and learning new software Previous construction, HVAC, or plumbing industry experience is not required. Candidates must be willing to become a New York State Notary Public if not already commissioned. The company will cover the associated preparation, testing, and expenses.
Compensation & Benefits Pay:
$21-$24/hour. Starting pay will be determined based on relevant office/administrative experience, skills, and demonstrated ability. Compensation will be reviewed after 90 days. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan with company match, accrued sick time, and one week of PTO after one year of employment , subject to applicable eligibility and waiting periods.Pay:
