We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to support insurance-related operations in New York. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who is organized, attentive to detail, and comfortable managing office tasks while handling information with accuracy and care. The role involves reviewing claim and policy materials, preparing clear documentation, and providing dependable administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Review workers' compensation claim files and policy records to gather relevant background details that support investigative and administrative processes.
  • Prepare written summaries, reports, and documentation related to claim reviews, settlements, denials, and assessments of involved parties.
  • Enter, update, and maintain information in office systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Answer inbound calls, respond to routine inquiries, and direct communications to the appropriate contacts in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Perform front-office and general administrative duties such as organizing records, managing correspondence, and supporting daily office workflow.
  • Use Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, to create documents, track information, and assist with reporting needs.
  • Coordinate assigned tasks independently while keeping work organized and meeting expected deadlines with limited supervision.
