The Administrative Assistant (assigned to the Housing Department) provides administrative support to: Performs data entry Sorts mail/general correspondence Maintains mailing lists Prepares vouchers, purchase orders Fields incoming calls Provides general service information and makes referrals Provides clerical support to the Department Assists the Coordinator with collecting and tabulating data for reports, as needed Assists with intake and enters data into database Tracks inventory and orders supplies, as needed Tracks and logs donations and/or payment for services Prepares count sheet (deposits), as needed
Pay:
$16.25//hour
Work Hours:
Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week.
Location:

Minimum Education and Experience:
Minimum High school diploma or equivalent with two years of experience in a business office setting.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
General knowledge of offices procedures and equipment Moderate level experience with MS Office products Data entry skills Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle routine administrative details independently, including the composition of letters and public notices Must be accurate, conscientious, and have a capacity for detailed work Other On-site attendance is a requirement of the position. Working hours at programs operated by the agency will generally correspond to the needs of the participants and the purpose of the program, with flexibility for work/life balance as the program allows The principle of confidentiality applies to all information and about programs participants and their families.
