Job Description

Summit Properties seeks a part-time, 10 hour per week Administrative Assistant for 124 independent senior living apartments at Cedars Senior Living Community in Queensbury, NY. The Administrative Assistant will work with the Community Manager to help keep the office organized and running efficiently. Candidate will enjoy administrative and accounting work, as well as be comfortable and confident in a customer service role. Other professional traits we are seeking include managing time effectively, attentive to details, responsible, friendly and accommodating, organized, intelligent, willing to tackle challenges and solve problems. Specific duties and job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Tenant customer service General office work and filing Responding to phone calls, emailwebsite inquiries Maintaining and scanning resident files Assisting with lease paperwork Verification of income paperwork with the Compliance Officer Property management, administrative and affordable housing experience is ideal. Knowledge of LIHTC programs a plus. Computer skills are required including proficiency in the Microsoft Suite. BIPOC and LGBTQ applicants are encouraged to apply.

Over the last 5 years, we have added nearly 15 employees and over 500 apartments to our portfolio.
