•$25.00 / hour (Based on Experience) Job Description A growing food manufacturing company in Ronkonkoma, NY, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join their team for a 5-to-6-month leave coverage assignment. Working on-site in a modern, comfortable office environment, this role will support daily office operations and keep general administrative functions running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Perform general office administrative duties, including file management, data entry, and handling internal communications. Draft, edit, and organize routine correspondence, memos, and documents using Microsoft Word. Input, update, and maintain basic spreadsheets and data tracking logs using Microsoft Excel. Answer incoming calls, take detailed messages, and route inquiries to the appropriate department. Assist office staff and management with daily clerical projects as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
1-3+ years of general administrative or office support experience (manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required).
Software Skills:
Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Skills:
Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and professional communication skills.
Availability:
Must be able to commit to the full 5-6 month temporary assignment working 9:00 AM
•5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Process Requirement:
Must be available for an in-person interview prior to start.
