The Office Assistant 2 will perform office support and clerical work for the Office of Opportunity Programs. In order to maintain a welcoming environment for prospective students, students, community members, and visiting university staff, the duties of this position include, but are not limited to: Assist with publication and scheduling of workshops and sending notification to students Assist with monitoring and editing Opportunity Program webpages Update student information in Banner Assist with maintaining Opportunity Program calendar and scheduling Collect and track all required documents for advisor review Provide excellent customer service, including telephone, e-mail or in person inquiries Actively participate in university activitiesRequirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must have a reachable score on the Office Assistant 2 Exam List OR Be a current NYS employee and have a current permanent appointment with 1 year of service as an Office Assistant 2, or in a title eligible to transfer to Office Assistant 2 ORNON-COMPETITIVE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
