Job Description

The campus is comprised of 296-bed not-for-profit community hospital; a 240-bed nursing and rehabilitation care center; and a 60,000 square foot medical office building. Job Details Clerical Assistant Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of clerical functions on the Nursing Unit including, but not limited to, meeting, greeting, and orienting patients to floor. Answers questions from patients and/or family members or redirects to appropriate care team member for response. Transcribes orders; prepares patient chart on admission; ensures that chart is maintained appropriately; dismantles chart upon discharge; prepares diet and census sheets; rewrites medex once a week; prepares venipuncture list; assists in coordinating and compiling statistics as needed. Assists the care team with the discharge process. Answers telephones in a professional manner; distributes mail.Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Minimum of 1 year experience in a doctor's office or healthcare facility preferred. Posted Salary Range USD $28.70 - USD $28.70 /Hr. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job, and it does not include the value of benefits.
