Job Description
Job Summary Operations Administrative Assistant (Development Track to Office Administrator) This position is intended for an individual who is interested in developing a long-term career in business operations and office administration. The successful candidate will receive hands-on training in company operations, compliance systems, human resources administration, fleet management, document control, executive support, and business processes with the opportunity to advance in the Office Administrator role. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student, recent graduate pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, or looking to expand your administrative experience, or returning to the workforce- you will receive hands-on training in nearly every aspect of running a successful small business Responsibilities Support day-to-day office operations and executive administration. Organize and maintain company records using Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Manage digital filing systems, document scanning, and electronic record keeping. Maintain company compliance records, licenses, permits, and operational trackers. Assist with fleet and equipment administration. Coordinate employee on-boarding and maintain HR records. Communicate with vendors, customers, contractors, and service providers. Assist with purchasing, mail, scheduling, and administrative projects. Perform occasional local business errands and site visits. Experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel required) and Google Workspace (Sheets required). Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail. Comfortable speaking with vendors, customers, and business partners by phone, email, and in person. Valid driver's license. Experience in landscaping, construction, contracting, or another field-service industry is preferred but not required. Compensation & Schedule Part-time (approximately 20-30 hours per week) Flexible schedule (during business hours 8 :00 AM - 5:00 PM) Five days per week preferred with shorter daily shifts available We are happy to accommodate class schedules for qualified college students.
