Job Summary The Administrative Assistant provides administrative, clerical, database, and customer service support across assigned departments. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records, entering and updating data across multiple systems, preparing reports and documents, conducting research, and providing professional support to students, employees, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision. Job Responsibilities Enter, maintain, and update information in multiple database systems.
Extract, organize, and prepare data from multiple systems for reports and departmental use.
Maintain accurate records and support data integrity.
Assist with time and attendance-related functions.
Prepare and communicate reports, procedures, correspondence, spreadsheets, and departmental information.
Perform routine administrative, clerical, and office support duties.
Conduct research and assist staff with information gathering.
Provide professional customer service to students, employees, and other stakeholders.
Support assigned departments and assist with additional administrative needs as required.
Perform other related duties as assigned. Job Requirements 1-3 years of related administrative, clerical, data entry, database, reporting, or office support experience.
Experience entering, maintaining, and updating information in database systems.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to organize and interpret information with limited supervision.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with different departments.
Experience with Banner/Ellucian, Brightspace, time and attendance systems, or other database systems is preferred.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Successful completion of a background check is required. Education Associate's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
Equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered in place of the degree. Work Experience 1-3 years of related administrative, clerical, data entry, database, reporting, or office support experience.
