Job Description
Property AssistantUnity House is seeking a respite/ per diem Property Assistant to support our Property Department with compliance and administrative functions. This flexible position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
Conduct file audits and identify missing or incomplete documentation.
Process and monitor tenant background checks through HCR systems and procedures.
Assist with maintaining accurate and organized housing records.
Support property management staff with administrative tasks related to compliance and occupancy requirements.
Ensure confidential information is handled appropriately and securely.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredValid and clean NYS driver license Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidential records and information.
Experience with affordable housing, property management, compliance reviews, or administrative support preferred.
Familiarity with HCR regulations and processes is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic recordkeeping systems.
