Job Description

Assist the Conference & Event Services staff with all facets of office processes. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting customers in the reservation process for events in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union, Olscamp Hall, academic space and all additional areas managed by the office.
Career Readiness Competencies :
Communication Professionalism Teamwork Front-line customer service; answering phones, taking messages and greeting office visitors. General Office functions including faxing, filing, copying, mail sorting, errands and running daily reports. Checking and responding to voice mail and e-mail, forwarding messages. Taking event requests/inquiries over the phone and in person. Complete space and resource assignments for the Student Union and Academic space. Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service. Excellent interpersonal skills. Demonstrated problem solving ability. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Knowledge of Windows Office Suite. Conference & Event Services office hours (8am-5pm). Business casual attire. Applicants must submit a resume and fall class schedule.
