Job Description
Shipping & Receiving Coordinator Summary The Shipping /Receiving Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day functions of the Shipping Department which includes building loads, scheduling trucks ((both internal and external), printing and completing required documents, and other shipping related tasks. Duties & Responsibilities Organize incoming orders. Schedule orders on company trucks or build loads to outsource. Update the truck schedule for loads coming and going between locations. Plan loads to meet production schedule and customer delivery requirements. Print Bills of Lading and complete appropriately Print Mill Test Reports and attach to Bills of Lading for orders that require them. Answer shipping and scheduling questions of all internal and external customers. JK pallet and BGR Invoices Toll Logistics Scrap Loads - Arranging trucks with franklin Iron Customer service/ Problem solving Work well in a team environment, as well as independently. Must exhibit diligence and accuracy. Ability to develop proficiency in ERP inventory system; experience with production or ERP / Inventory systems necessary. Immediate skill level preferred for Windows applications including Word and Excel Excellent organization skills Effective communication skills; verbal, written, and listening skills.
