Under direct supervision, assists the assigned department in all areas as needed. This person should consistently demonstrate Integrity, Gratitude, Excellence, and Leadership.
Responsibilities:
Provides administrative support to the Safety department's insurance function, including data entry, document review and preparation, and filing Handles incoming emails and correspondence related to insurance inquiries Assists in maintaining and updating company, employee, customer, and subcontractor commercial and auto insurance compliance Communicates with internal and external customers to obtain or provide necessary documentation and information Assists with annual business insurance renewal Reviews documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations Assists with insurance program enrollment and compliance Supports insurance associate with special projects and audits as needed Knows and adheres to all Company policies and procedures Other duties as assigned This list is non-exhaustive. Qualifications Two (2) or more years of administrative or office support experience Prior experience in insurance or financial services is preferred Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of general insurance concepts and practices Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation Strong organizational and time management skills Skilled in handling sensitive and confidential information with a high level of discretion Ability to use a personal computer and/or iPad and relevant software for extended periods Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to manage workload independently and meet dynamic deadlines
