Job Description

We are seeking a Clinic Associate! Vinton County, OH Join our Team! Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a community-minded, forward-thinking behavioral health organization helping people along the road to health and well-being. We meet people in their homes and communities and help connect them to the resources. We serve Southeastern and Central Ohio with a comprehensive array of behavioral health and other services, working with local partners to promote healthy people and strong communities. Our services are intended to be collaborative and personalized for the individual. This Clinic Associate serves as a welcoming first point of contact, demonstrating a "no wrong door" approach by responding to incoming calls, gathering referral and presenting-need information, and connecting individuals to the appropriate services, providers, or programs. The position supports timely access and continuity of care through accurate data entry, documentation collection, referral and billing data entry, coordination with telehealth and internal teams, and effective use of electronic systems. It also supports daily office operations and maintains monthly performance standards to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery. The pay range for this position is $19.00 to $22.26 per hour based on experience, education, and/or licensure.
Essential Functions:
  • Demonstrates a friendly "no wrong door" approach to all ISBH employees and clients
  • Serves as an initial point of contact by responding to incoming calls, referrals and presenting-need information, and ensuring timely connection to the appropriate service, provider, or program.
  • Operates EHR, insurance portals, and other databases as assigned
  • Collects and assists with the processing of toxicology screens in support of the psychiatry department
  • Facilitates connection with ISBH clients and telehealth providers
  • Obtains insurance information, identification, agreements, consents and other required client documents as indicated
  • Supports overall operation of the ISBH office including submitting maintenance requests, monitoring supplies, and acting as a point of contact for contracted services
  • Referral and billing data entry in compliance with monthly performance measures
  • Serves as a liaison with coordinators and managers to ensure access and continuity of service
  • Meets performance standards reported monthly using system databases
  • Utilizes databases and Electronic Health Record systems for accurate client documentation
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, mandated reporting requirements, and professional ethical guidelines
  • Travel within designated service areas
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Education/Licensure:
  • A high school degree or GED equivalent is required
  • An associate degree in healthcare, behavioral health or related field is preferred
Experience:
  • Experience with multi-need people and families is preferred
  • 3 years of experience/training in business, health, communications, computers, or other related areas is preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Advanced communication skills, both oral and written is required
  • Ability to use appropriate databases, spreadsheets, and other software is required
  • Advanced organizational skills are required
  • Ability to maintain confidential information is required
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle is required
  • An appropriate level of auto insurance coverage is required
  • Ability to manage deadlines within a fast-paced, high-volume environment is required
  • Ability to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment is required
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer is required
