Job Description

The Morrow County Court of Common Pleas is hiring a full-time Deputy Clerk/Administrative Assistant . The Deputy Clerk/Administrative Assistant will provide general administrative and secretarial support including, but not limited to: processing pleadings and documents; processing marriage licenses; scheduling hearings; greeting, assisting, and directing Court users; answering phones; scanning documentation; sorting Court deliveries and supplies; handling mail; accepting Court payments and fees; and, any other duties determined to be necessary. While exhibiting the ability to work independently as well as in a group setting, the Deputy Clerk/Administrative Assistant must possess exceptional inter-personal skills, be proficient in the use of computers, possess quality problem-solving skills, and have the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Prior clerking and/or secretarial experience is preferred. The starting salary for this position is $45,864/annually ($22.05/hourly).
