Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract An experienced inpatient pharmacist is needed to support hospital pharmacy operations in North/Central Ohio at two locations serving 25 and 40 beds respectively. These healthcare facilities utilize EPIC as their electronic medical record system and provide collaborative, patient-centered care alongside physicians and nursing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive inpatient pharmacy duties, including medication dispensing and clinical interventions. Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee clean room procedures to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Maintain clear and effective communication with multidisciplinary care teams including doctors and nurses. Adapt to flexible shifts starting between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM, working every fourth weekend.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current and active Ohio pharmacist license. Demonstrated experience in inpatient pharmacy settings. Strong leadership skills to oversee technician activities and maintain clean room standards. Effective communication and collaboration skills with healthcare professionals. Commitment to values of kindness, responsibility, confidence, and teamwork.
Schedule:
Flexible shifts with start times between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Work every fourth weekend.
