Every day, our team helps people navigate some of life's most difficult moments. We're looking for an organized, dependable, and customer-focused Office Assistant to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, callers, and community partners while helping keep our offices running smoothly behind the scenes. What You'll Do As our Office Assistant , you'll play an important role in supporting both our staff and the people we serve by: + Greeting visitors, clients, vendors, applicants, and community partners in a welcoming and professional manner. + Answering and directing incoming calls while ensuring every caller reaches the appropriate resource or team member. + Helping visitors access printed resources, staff assistance, or crisis services when needed. + Maintaining an organized, welcoming reception area stocked with current community resource materials. + Providing administrative support to multiple departments, including copying, printing, laminating, creating signage, and preparing materials. + Coordinating office maintenance, repairs, vendor communication, and facility needs. + Managing office, kitchen, and cleaning supply inventories and placing orders as needed. + Supporting agency safety initiatives, including documentation, inspections, drills, committee participation, and training coordination. + Assisting with payroll preparation through weekly timesheet review. + Helping maintain an efficient, organized, and professional office environment.
