Full Job Description Job Summary:
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Administrative Assistant III performs complex administrative and clerical duties for the department and organization.
Job Duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares reports and presentation materials. Receives and responds to correspondence. Receives and directs visitors. Schedules meetings. Performs other duties, tasks, and services consistent with this position as assigned.
LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY
Performs work under minimal supervision and may serve as a lead in the absence of the supervisor or manager. Handels complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree. Four (4) years of experience in a related field.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to build strong working relationships Meticulous attention to detail Strong organizational skills Ability to hold strict confidentiality
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
CERTIFICATES, LICENES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets the requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
