Job Description

Job Summary:
The Scheduling/Administrative Assistant is responsible for coordinating and maintaining staffing schedules for the Nursing Department within a skilled nursing facility to ensure appropriate staffing levels that support quality resident care and regulatory compliance. This role provides administrative support by maintaining staffing records, processing schedule changes, assisting with payroll-related functions, preparing reports, answering phones, and serving as a liaison between nursing staff and leadership. The Scheduling/Administrative Assistant must demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills while maintaining confidentiality and supporting the daily operations of the nursing department.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must hold a current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification, or Advanced Certified Medication Aide (ACMA) certification. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting is required. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic scheduling/payroll systems. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

$17.00 - $25.00 per hour
