Position Introduction:
The University of Oklahoma's Michael F. Price College of Business is seeking a highly organized and service-oriented professional to serve as the Division Assistant for the Management and International Business Division. The Division offers undergraduate and graduate programs in Management, International Business, Sports Business, and Energy Management, as well as certificates and minors in areas such as Human Resource Management, Leadership, and Legal Studies. Through its academic programs, research, and partnerships, the Division prepares students to become effective leaders in organizations and the global business environment. The Division Assistant plays an important role in supporting the Division Director and faculty while helping create a responsive and welcoming experience for students, visitors, and university partners. This position serves as a primary point of contact for the Division and supports daily operations through scheduling, calendar and meeting coordination, confidential record maintenance, routine correspondence, and assistance with faculty and student administrative needs. The position also assists with meeting and program logistics, maintains office supplies, and gathers documentation for review by the Senior Administrative and Financial Coordinator. In addition, the position helps coordinate Division events and supports event logistics, including for campus and Division visitors. The successful candidate will be a dependable, proactive, and detail-oriented professional who communicates effectively, provides excellent customer service, and can manage multiple priorities in a timely manner. Job Duties:
The Division Assistant provides administrative and front-office support to the Management and International Business Division and assists with daily operational and academic administrative needs. Serve as primary point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Schedule appointments and meetings for the Division Director and faculty. Manage calendars and meeting logistics. Maintain confidential files and administrative records. Assist faculty with routine administrative needs, including documentation, reimbursement routing, scheduling, and general inquiries. Support student administrative requests and general inquiries. Assist with logistical support for division programs and meetings, including room reservations and materials preparation. Coordinate and support division events, including, but not limited to, faculty meetings, guest speakers, and board of advisor meetings. Monitor, order, and maintain division office supplies, including paper and general office materials; submit requisitions as needed. Prepare routine correspondence and reports. Assist with gathering financial documentation for review by the Senior Administrative and Financial Coordinator. Required Education and Experience:
