2+ years supervised experience under a dietitian/nutrition therapist or equivalent preferredPay & Benefits Pay Rate:
$24.00/hour 11 Federal Holidays paid out at $0.96 additionally for every hours worked up to 40 hours weekly 10 vacation days per year that begins accruing at 90 days 11 sick days per year that begins accruing day 1Benefits:
Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid holidays, vacation, and sick days Referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws What You'll Do Interview patients and obtain diet histories Review medical charts for nutritional information Assist with nutritional assessments using standardized procedures Support dietitians in developing and implementing care plans Provide individual diet instructions for normal and modified diets Conduct nutrition education classes for prenatal, postpartum, and pediatric participants Maintain accurate records and prepare reports Support clinic operations: greet participants, manage appointments, and coordinate follow-ups Collect screening data such as height, weight, and other measurements Assist with participant communication and follow-up reminders Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify needs and make appropriate referralsWhat You Need Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Two years of supervised experience under a dietitian/nutrition therapist or equivalent Knowledge of basic nutrition principles, sanitation, and food handling Ability to follow written and oral medical/dietetic instructionsPreferred:
WIC/Nutrition Technician certification Experience in hospital, school, or public health settings Ability to identify dietary deficiencies and design special diets About the Assignment Support a nutrition and dietetic service unit by assisting with assessments, patient education, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Contribute to improving community health outcomes through direct participant engagement and support.
