Contract-to-Hire | 12-month initial contract Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, organized, and adaptable Field Clerk to provide administrative support within a busy construction field office. This position will work onsite in a jobsite trailer and closely support project management, field supervision, craft employees, vendors, and other project personnel. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable in a fast-paced construction environment, proficient with Microsoft Excel, and able to communicate effectively with a wide range of field personnel. Spanish/English bilingual ability is highly preferred. Responsibilities Provide daily administrative support to project management and field supervision. Maintain accurate project records, spreadsheets, logs, and documentation. Enter and organize project data with a high level of accuracy. Utilize Microsoft Excel for trackers, reports, basic formulas, and calculations. Assist with employee timekeeping, payroll documentation, and workforce-related administrative tasks. Support purchase orders, invoices, receipts, expenses, and other project documentation. Maintain organized electronic and physical project files. Assist with tracking materials, equipment, deliveries, and other field information. Prepare and distribute reports, correspondence, forms, and administrative documents. Serve as a point of contact for employees, visitors, vendors, and project personnel. Answer phones, respond to emails, and direct questions to the appropriate team member. Support project management and field supervision with special projects and administrative needs. Help maintain a professional and organized jobsite trailer. Perform additional administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous construction, utility, industrial, or field-office experience preferred. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including basic formulas and spreadsheet management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Teams. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work professionally with a variety of construction and field personnel. Self-motivated, dependable, and willing to learn new systems and terminology. Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities. Spanish/English bilingual ability is highly preferred. Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite. Must be willing and able to work a minimum of 5 days/10-hour shifts, with the ability to work 6 days/10-hour shifts when project demands require. Must be comfortable working onsite in a jobsite trailer. Must successfully pass a background investigation, MVR check, and drug test. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no employer sponsorship is available. Schedule & Benefits Minimum 5 days per week, 10-hour shifts. Ability to work 6 days per week, 10-hour shifts based on project needs. Typical start time around 7:00-7:30 AM. 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity 5 PTO days during the contract period. 5 paid holidays.Pay:
