Job Title:
Front Office Coordinator Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Office Receptionist/Scheduler to join our practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing a welcoming and professional environment. This role involves managing patient appointments, answering phones, handling reminders via calls, texts, and emails, and assisting with billing and insurance inquiries. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking in a busy office setting. Previous experience in a healthcare environment is preferred but not required. The position offers opportunities for bonuses and growth within our team.
Responsibilities:
Greet clients warmly and professionally to create a positive first impression Answer incoming calls promptly and assist with appointment scheduling, reminders, and inquiries Collect payments such as co-pays and co-insurance, process credit card transactions Maintain organized records and ensure accuracy in scheduling Assist with insurance benefit verification, billing procedures, and patient invoicing Perform general office duties including data entry, filing, and correspondence Learn and utilize our billing system to support insurance claims processing Prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple responsibilities Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with patients and team members Demonstrate a proactive attitude by familiarizing oneself with office procedures and asking questions when needed
Qualifications:
Outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in MS Office applications Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning new systems Good verbal and written communication skills Reliable team player with a positive attitude Experience in a medical office or knowledge of medical insurance is preferred but not required
Job Types:

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
