Administrative Assistant Role Overview PrideStaff, a staffing firm based in Bend, OR, is seeking a. Administrative Assistant to step in and manage our daily operations of a faith based organization in Sunriver, OR, for 4 to 6 weeks. This role is heavily focused on providing close administrative support to a Senior Pastor, managing facility coordination, and acting as a warm, guiding presence for visitors. If you have strong Microsoft skills and love a community-focused environment where you can keep things running seamlessly, we would love to have you join us for this temporary assignment. Job Details $21.00 per hour 30 hours per week (Core hours are 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with flexibility) Short-Term Temporary Contract (4 to 6 weeks) Key Responsibilities Act as a dedicated assistant to the Senior Pastor, managing daily administrative tasks and correspondence. Provide general oversight of the front office to ensure daily operations run smoothly during the vacancy. Own the creation, publishing, copying, and assembly of the weekly church bulletin. Utilize Microsoft Publisher to layout and design the bulletin content. Manage and respond to incoming emails and communications. Manage and schedule bookings for individuals or groups who want to use the church facility. Coordinate and schedule volunteer speakers and Lectors for services. Monitor inventory and handle ordering for necessary office and facility supplies. Act as the general greeter for anyone who visits or wanders into the facility. Answer questions, provide directions, and offer brief tours of the facility to visitors as needed. Answer phones and handle general inquiries with a warm, helpful demeanor. Qualifications & Skills Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Publisher is preferred.
