$18.28 per hour, family benefits providedPosition Summary:
The Special Education Department Secretary is responsible for providing administrative support to the Special Education Department in the central office.Essential Functions:
Assists with the overall organization, filing, tracking, and management of Special Education Department paperwork Answering and directing phone calls Assists with the day-to-day operations of the Special Education Department. This includes but is not limited to: processing IEPs, GIEPs, and related documents using software programs assisting with the management of rosters and summer programming ordering and organizing supplies managing large volumes of student information data entry processing requisitions and purchase orders processing record requests working closely with transportation and managing related forms and documentation managing conference requests assisting with homeschooling paperwork managing district-wide Safety Care Trainings managing district-wide IEP schedules assisting with the Access program data entry Provides coverage for the Butler Area School District mailroom and switchboard as needed Other duties as assigned by theDirector of Special Education and Assistant Director of Special Education Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Prior clerical experience preferred Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.Other Requirements:
Team player and customer service oriented Highly organized Ability to prioritize and multitask Ability to work with a high degree of confidentiality Act 34, 151, and FBI clearances required upon employmentPay:
