Job Description

An Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of a mental health office.
Responsibilities may include:
  • Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
  • Maintaining patient records and ensuring confidentiality
  • Collaborating with clinicians and staff to provide excellent patient care
  • Communicating with patients and their families to provide information and support
  • Assisting with billing and Patient Payments - including weekly deposits
  • Managing office supplies and inventory
  • Cleaning and tidying of common office areas, including entry area, waiting room, meeting room, kitchen, bathrooms and hallways on a regular basis.
  • Assisting practice owner with HR processes
  • Note taking during meetings
  • Assisting with other administrative tasks as needed Skills The ideal candidate for this role should have excellent computer, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients dealing with mental health challenges.
Experience in a healthcare or mental health setting is preferred. Practice Information West Shore Wellness, LLC, is an established outpatient mental health group practice that has been providing services to residents of Central Pennsylvania for almost 10 years. WSW is a solo office practice location in the heart of Camp Hill, PA. We are a busy, growing practice, specializing in mental health counseling, drug and alcohol counseling, family and marital therapy and pre-marital counseling. Our primary referral base includes family practices, local churches, and former clients. Ideal candidates will possess a mature personal faith, mature character, and professional demeanor. Candidates should have strong references. Background in psychology, social work, counseling or HR a strong plus. Ability to pass a background check and child abuse clearance necessary.
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
