This position will cover two locations and will be split each week between the following: Mercy Fitzterald Hospital
  • Darby, PA Saint Francis Hospital
  • Wilmington, DE Position Purpose The Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of secretarial and clerical duties to support the Maintenance and Facilities operations of Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital.
As an Administrative Assistant, you will: Acts as liaison between administrators and subordinate staff and other offices, both external and internal. Exercises tact and good judgment in releasing information. Receives telephone and personal callers. Screens those calls that can be handled by administrator's subordinates and tactfully refers callers as appropriate. Maintains calendar and scheduling requirements for head of the department. Directs and coordinates the efficient and effective operation of the Maintenance and Facilities office.
Minimum Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Secretarial Sciences or related field required. Related experience may be substitute for education and training requirements. Prevous Admin Assistant experience required, preferably in healthcare Excellent organizational ability to plan and support the office
