Part-time Full-time Job Description:
We are a boutique tax, financial and estate planning law firm of four attorneys seeking an administrative assistant to join our existing support staff. The ideal candidate has excellent typing, personal and organizational skills, can support our attorneys with the preparation of estate planning documents, assist with the filing of tax returns and forms, as well as prepare meeting materials and other items related to our practice. This role will also support our office manager, with the potential for long-term growth. We are open to all levels of experience and are willing to tailor the position to the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Draft correspondence and prepare legal documents with instructions from the attorneys Field calls from clients and welcome clients who visit our office Maintain and organize client files Track deadlines and assist with tax filings Intake inquiries by telephone and email
Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe (Acrobat/PDF management) Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Prior legal or office experience is a plus, but not required
