Job Description

Legal Administrative Assistant We are seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join a growing local law practice. This role will involve work across a variety of practice areas, including Estates, Trusts, Business Formation, Litigation, and other fields of law. It is an excellent opportunity for a well-qualified applicant to grow into the position, with mentorship and training provided from day one. The successful applicant will receive competitive compensation while having the opportunity to help build and develop a newly formed legal partnership. As the practice grows, there will be meaningful opportunities for increased responsibility and professional development. The role requires proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, strong attention to detail, and strong organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities will include answering telephone calls, gathering client information in a professional and client-friendly manner, preparing form documents, maintaining files and records, handling filings and other legal paperwork, assisting with the day-to-day operation of the practice, and helping manage the attorney's schedule. The position may begin as either part-time or full-time, with the intention of developing into a lasting role as the practice continues to grow. A full-time employee will be expected to work in the office during regular business hours. A part-time employee will be expected to work in the office during mutually agreed-upon hours. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
