Job Description
Position Summary:
The Business Office Clerk, under direction of the Business Manager, is responsible for varied and specialized duties, including moderately complex work involving procurement, accounts payable/receivable, accounting and tracking of data. The Business Office Clerk must be comfortable with inflexible deadlines and able to self-manage task prioritization to ensure those deadlines are always met. Workflow is cyclical and high volume. Other responsibilities include clerical tasks such as copying, typing, filing, and email. This position has regular interaction with ICTC staff in a support capacity, is a liaison with vendors, and has access to confidential records. Dexterity with the Microsoft Office Suite and PDF software, basic accounting, purchasing and bidding knowledge, and attention to detail are important for job success.Required Experience:
A High School Diploma or equivalent and two years of related experience in maintaining general accounting systems. Computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet and database are mandatory.Preferred Qualification:
Knowledge of standard accounts payable policies, procedures and regulations. Knowledge of current purchasing control and bidding procedures. Knowledge of business office equipment and other general administrative office proceduresClearance Requirements:
