Overview We are seeking a highly organized Administrative Assistant to join our small law firm that fights for patient access to medical treatments. This is a great opportunity for anyone considering becoming a paralegal or attending law school. You will work with three attorneys and other administrative assistants and paralegals who are passionate about our work. Duties Manage front desk operations, including processing mail and directing phone calls using multi-line phone systems Handle data entry tasks accurately within spreadsheets and database systems Coordinate calendar management, scheduling appointments, meetings, and hearings Perform clerical duties such as word processing, proofreading documents, and preparing letters for clients Maintain supply inventories, create and organize files, and maintaining a clean workspace Be able to speak to patients and the staff of judicial teams answering questions, scheduling hearings, requesting documents from judicial teams and promptly respond to their inquiries Assist with personal assistant responsibilities when needed, including travel arrangements or special project support Requirements College degree Experience in an office environment and strong clerical skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, powerpoint) and strong computer literacy and technical proficiency Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, including experience with multi-line phone systems and client interaction The ability to maintain confidentiality Demonstrated ability to handle data entry accurately while maintaining attention to detail in proofreading and document preparation Enthusiasm for helping patients access health care
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
