Job Description

Job Summary Secretary - will play a key role in ensuring prompt, accurate, and confidential handling of issues raised by members. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-service mindset.
Key Responsibilities :
Coordinate with AFTPA staff representatives to resolve issues Maintain accurate records of members' complaints, communications, and resolutions Prepare reports and summaries of recurring issues and trends Complete detailed reports in a timely fashion Draft and send official correspondence and internal communications Manage schedules, handle filing, and support departmental admin tasks Ensure confidentiality and professionalism at all times Professional telephone etiquette - quick response to incoming and outgoing calls Operate office equipment including, but not limited to fax machine, copier, etc. And other related duties
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher preferred 2+ years of administrative or secretarial experience, preferably in HR or payroll Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Google Suites platform and/or MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience handling confidential information with discretion Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills Type 60 wpm Must work in office 5-day work schedule Please submit a cover letter, resume and references to info@aftpa.org

$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
