This position manages budgeting, payroll, tax reporting, monthly bill payments, customer correspondence, delinquent account follow-up, coordination with legal counsel, and recording meeting minutes. The role ensures accurate financial management and smooth daily administrative operations. Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, payroll, and tax reporting
  • Process and pay monthly bills and maintain accurate financial records
  • Manage customer correspondence and assist with delinquent account collection
  • Work directly with legal counsel as needed
  • Take detailed notes and prepare minutes for monthly Authority meetings
  • Maintain organized files, records, and documentation
  • Uphold all financial and administrative procedures to ensure compliance and operational integrity Experience Required
  • 0-6 months of experience (entry-level; training provided)
  • Experience in accounting or finance is a plus
  • Municipal or authority experience is a plus
  • QuickBooks experience is a plus Skills Required
  • Strong organizational skills
Computer Skills:
Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, general computer proficiency
  • Ability to be bonded (required)
  • Strong communication and record-keeping abilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively Education Requirements
