Job Description
Job description We are seeking a Front Desk Associate to join our private practice team. Monday through Thursday schedule. No nights or weekends. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high quality services. This position requires excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. Duties Greet patients warmly, and manage patient check-in and check-out processes with professionalism and care Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software ensuring optimal patient flow Verify insurance coverage and benefits, including insurance verification for various providers and plans Maintain accurate dental records and medical documentation review to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and office policies Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, answer inquiries, and direct calls appropriately Support clinic operations by coordinating medical scheduling, intake procedures, and ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date Qualifications Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare administrative support role is preferred Knowledge of dental terminology, and insurance processes including verification and billing procedures is a plus Excellent customer service skills Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
