MISSION STATEMENT

Students of the Upper Moreland Township School District will be provided with the foundation and skills necessary to excel in the exciting, complex, and interdependent world in which they live.
SUMMARY:
The role of the Attendance and Greeting Secretary is to provide clerical support for the student attendance in the assigned building. Additional duties include greeting visitors at the building and ensuring compliance with visitor procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following: (Other appropriate duties may be assigned.) Prepares budget, purchase orders, quotes, and contracts Accounts for faculty/staff attendance reports and working hours Accounts for building coverages (professional and support staff) Reports building-based data to the District Office Communicates and coordinates special events and student activities i.e. picture day Assists the security and safety surveillance (command center for drills and emergencies) Executive Assistant to the Principal Support administration in assignment and notification of class coverage Track and provide reports for staff attendance as required Support communication to staff and community Creation of a school calendar Accounts for student scholarship money (High School Only) Process W-9 requests for the business office Organizes student/staff parking assignments, issues hang tags (High School Only) Other building specific duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High School Diploma Secretary experience preferred Keyboard proficiency and ability to use various office machines and equipment Proficiency in Google Suite Must successfully complete and maintain compliance with all federal and state background and criminal record check requirements. The position holder must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
