Job Description

SAIC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the USMC team in Hanahan, SC. This individual will play a critical role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly by supporting a team of approximately 100 personnel across a range of administrative functions. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, defense-contractor environment and can manage multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion. This position will be hybrid requiring at least 1-4 days onsite per week.
Job Duties:
Coordinate and book domestic travel (flights, lodging, ground transportation, per diem) in line with company and government policies; maintain travel calendars and serve as primary contact for travel issues. Process, reconcile, and track employee expense reports in compliance with SAIC and contract guidelines using Concur (training provided). Create, track, and manage SWAT tickets to onboard new employees into the NIWC command, including CAC and Flankspeed provisioning, ensuring timely resolution (training provided). Provide general administrative support, including calendar management, meeting and event logistics, digital file organization, and secure handling of sensitive information.
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required; Five (5) years or more of work experience Demonstrated ability to manage and track data for large teams (50+ personnel) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft clear, professional reports and correspondence Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment with minimal supervision

No clearance required to start; must be able to obtain and maintain a
Secret Security Clearance Desired Qualifications:
Experience working with government contracting, defense, or large corporate environment
