Job Description

Summary:
At Callagy Recovery, we fight to get healthcare providers the reimbursement they deserve. This role manages out-of-network medical claims from start to finish—digging into the details, keeping claims moving, and taking the necessary steps toward resolution. We're looking for someone who is driven, dedicated, organized, and ready to take ownership in a fast-paced, results-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage assigned claims f rom start to finish, ensuring all steps are completed accurately and within required deadlines. Prepare and submit insurance appeals through email, mail, Availity, and carrier portals. Handle professional and timely email correspondence with carriers, providers, and internal team members. Review EOBs, claim responses, and appeal determinations to determine the appropriate next steps. When appeals are unsuccessful, prepare and organize all required documentation for California state complaints process. Communicate issues or delays to management and proactively address missing information.
Qualifications & Skills:
Highly organized and detail-oriented. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent follow-up and time-management abilities. Ability to manage multiple claims and deadlines simultaneously. Comfortable working independently and navigating multiple insurance/carrier portals. Prior experience with medical billing, insurance claims, appeals, or out-of-network reimbursement preferred. Knowledge of California insurance and out-of-network processes preferred.
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
