Summary:
This role requires someone with strong written communication skills to support the grant management process for a Not-for-Profit organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Ability to review, critique grants and prepare a written synopsis of grant and charity activities information in report format. Review grant applications and reporting materials for completeness and follow-up with applicants as needed to obtain additional information necessary for processing grants. Record all grant activities with accuracy using an online grant management system. Set up and facilitate charity meetings via Zoom/Microsoft Teams; prepare and transcribe meeting notes and follow up on next steps. Track dates, events and actionable items and notify / follow-up on these with the team / charity. Produce and update charity and scholarship check list for export into Excel. Track and review grantee payments and reports due, sending reminders to grantees and program staff as needed. Track deadlines and ensure timely submission of follow-up reports, and other necessary documents. Troubleshoot basic IT issues with the grant system. Organize and maintain files / filing systems, both physical and electronic. Proofread finished work frequently under tight time constraints. Provide administrative support to the grants team as needed. Attend occasional nonprofit site visits and meetings to record notes and minutes.
