Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized Administrative Assistant to join our small agency. Primary responsibilities relate to the administrative operations supporting the design, organization, and implementation of high-end domestic and international tours for small groups. Meticulous attention to detail is a must, as is the ability to multi-task and communicate clearly in writing and speech. Candidates must be detail-oriented and reasonably tech savvy, with a very good to excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat. Word Press and Quick Books a plus but not essential. Candidates should be available to start immediately and to work four days per week 10:00-4:00. Strong likelihood of increased hours in the coming months and potential for increased responsibility. This position is primarily work-from-home, with occasional meetings and work sessions in downtown Providence. Responsibilities Provide customer service by responding promptly to inquiries via phone or email and supporting client communication Schedule appointments, manage calendars, coordinate meetings for staff and clients Dispense tour information over the phone and via email and process payments and registrations Maintain customer profiles in Excel and We Travel Interface with domestic and international vendors to make or confirm reservations Proof documents and prepare physical mailings for travelers Experience Some prior office experience is essential; familiarity with office management and administrative procedures is highly preferred Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry skills Experience providing customer support by phone and email Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Pay:
$22.00 - $27.50 per hour
