DESCRIPTION

Department Information The Registrar's Office supports students throughout their academic journey, from registration through graduation. The team maintains official academic records and provides essential services involving transcripts, enrollment verification, scheduling, and degree completion. In this role, you'll pair responsive service with careful administrative work that helps keep those services accurate and accessible. Description of Job A helpful answer can make a complicated process feel much easier. CSU Pueblo is seeking an Administrative Assistant II to serve as a welcoming first point of contact in the Registrar's Office and help students, faculty, staff, and visitors get the information and services they need. What you'll do

Welcome and assist visitors. Staff the Registrar's Office front desk, respond to questions in person, by phone, and by email, and help people navigate office policies and processes. Resolve routine concerns and connect visitors with the appropriate team member when additional assistance is needed.

Process forms and student requests. Review and process Registrar forms, manage transcript requests and related services, complete enrollment verifications, and support student record updates as directed.

Keep records organized and accurate. Scan and index documents, maintain physical and digital files, and check that records can be retrieved when needed.

Support a strong team. Assist with office projects, audits, data entry, follow-up, and process improvements. Participate in cross-training to help maintain consistent service across office functions. This is a half-time position with a 20-hour workweek.

Salary range notice:

Due to budget constraints, the available salary range for this position is limited. CSU Pueblo can consider applicants with 25 years of service or less in the Administrative Assistant series. Applicants must meet one of the following:
Experience:

Two years of relevant experience in an occupation related to this position; or

Education and experience: A combination of related education and relevant experience equal to two years. Minimum qualifications are established by the State of Colorado. Review the Administrative Assistant class series and minimum qualifications for additional information. Additional requirements

This position is open to current Colorado residents only.

A pre-employment criminal background check is required for new hires.

This is an on-site position at CSU Pueblo's Pueblo campus. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support departmental or university events.
