Job Description

The Town of Kennebunkport is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Administrative Assistant to support several town boards and committees, including the Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, Beach Advisory Committee, and Growth Planning Committee.
Key Responsibilities:
Attend or watch meetings to prepare accurate, detailed minutes. Distribute and manage meeting documents and approved minutes. Ensure proper room setup, accessibility, and equipment if attending in person. Provide clerical support and assist with records management. Serve as backup for Selectboard minutes as needed.
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent. At least 6 months of relevant administrative experience. Strong typing, listening, and minute-taking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and general office equipment. Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality. Knowledge of or willingness to learn parliamentary procedures.
Other Details:
Work primarily from home with occasional attendance at evening meetings. Must be able to travel to in-person meetings when required.
