This is a part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week , ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, resourceful, professional, and comfortable taking initiative.
Important Schedule Requirement:
While there is some flexibility in scheduling, at least 15 of the 20 weekly hours will need to be completed during normal daytime business hours, not in the evenings. This is important because many responsibilities involve phone calls, appointments, vendors, clients, offices, and other businesses that are only available during the day. Responsibilities may include:
Managing calendars, appointments, and reminders Making professional phone calls and following up with clients, vendors, businesses, and other contacts Writing and responding to professional emails Proofreading emails, documents, and other written communication Organizing documents, files, spreadsheets, and records Data entry and updating client or business information Business-related follow-ups and administrative support Researching products, vendors, services, contacts, and other information Ordering supplies and coordinating deliveries Scheduling personal and household appointments Assisting with errands, returns, and household projects Keeping track of ongoing projects, deadlines, and follow-ups Helping organize both business and personal priorities Handling miscellaneous administrative and personal-assistant tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Strong professional communication skills, especially by phone and email Excellent English proficiency, both written and spoken Ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally Strong proofreading, spelling, grammar, and attention-to-detail skills Strong computer and technology skills Comfortable learning and using different online platforms, software, apps, spreadsheets, and business systems Proficient with email, Google Docs, Google Sheets, calendars, and general computer-based administrative work Extremely organized and dependable Able to work independently and problem-solve Resourceful and comfortable researching solutions Proactive and able to anticipate what needs to be done rather than waiting for step-by-step instructions Professional and discreet when handling confidential or personal information Able to comfortably balance business and personal-assistant responsibilities We are looking for someone who can be trusted to take ownership of tasks from start to finish , follow up when necessary, and help make sure important details do not fall through the cracks.
Schedule:
