Hiring Agency Cabinet for Health & Family Services | Dept for Community Based Services Location 275 E Main Street, 3E-F Frankfort, KY 40621 USA Description The agency may authorize the selected candidate to telecommute. The Division of Finance and Administration, Fiduciary Management Branch provides the Division of Guardianship with the assistance, support, and operations to provide for the fiscal responsibilities of those appointed to CHFS as requiring a guardian and conservator. The Fiduciary Management Branch tracks the financial resources of the individuals under guardianship, makes payments for living expenses and personal needs and provides reports to the courts and other agencies regarding the income and expenditures of the individuals. The department works with a very diverse population, community resources, the court system, community partners, and family members of individuals appointed to guardianship and other Cabinet and department staff in a collaborative relationship. The Department is looking for an individual with the passion to help others. To be a successful staff member in the Fiduciary Management Branch, candidates should be professional, polite, and able to work with a diverse population and deal with difficult situations in a calm, respectful manner. They should be responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly and able to ask for assistance or guidance when needed. The successful candidate must be comfortable with computers, excel at both verbal and written communications, and have the drive to meet the needs of those we serve. Collects employer information for those individuals, and maintain the information on the KYGFIS database in order to meet all requirements of the position. Manages and monitors missing wage deposits. Collects, maintains, and organizes wage stubs for all wage checks received via mail. Works with employers to change paper wage checks to ACH deposits. Collects, maintains, and organizes login information for all wage stubs needed for wages received via ACH. Maintains knowledge of federal and state laws, regulations, and policy. Works in coordination with other staff as needed for SSA recertifications that require wage stub reporting. Reports wages for all individuals under state guardianship that are employed monthly per SSA and internal guidelines. Staff meeting attendance. Other duties as assigned. The preferred skills include but are not limited to: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent computer skills. Ability to plan and establish priorities. Attention to detail being thorough and accurate in completing tasks. Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
