ARPA-H CIRCLE

Program Administrator will serve as the lead program administrator for UVM's $38 million

ARPA-H CIRCLE

(Critical Illness Immunological Reprogramming and Control Point Learning Engine) award, under which UVM serves as the prime institution. Provide high-level, end-to-end program and financial administration for this five-year, multi-phase, multi-institutional award, including subaward management for all consortium partner institutions, budget and effort administration, and program reporting and compliance coordination. Serve as the primary administrative point of contact with the ARPA-H Program Manager and ISO Coordinator, and work collaboratively with the Principal Investigator, Department Administrator, and the Office of Sponsored Programs Administration (SPA) to ensure the program's technical, financial, and regulatory milestones are met on schedule. Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Bachelor's degree, or equivalence to 5-7 years of related experience in sponsored research or program administration, including federal grant/contract or Other Transaction (OT) agreement management, subaward administration, and complex, multi-institutional budgeting, in a highly collaborative, deadline-driven environment. Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required, including the ability to interface directly with federal program staff, investigators, and external collaborators.

Perform duties with high levels of independence and autonomy, independently manage complex, multi-year federal award processes with strict deadlines, work to achieve operational and program milestones, and maintain flexibility to reprioritize across a large, multi-site consortium. Desirable Qualifications Previous experience with ARPA-H, DARPA, NIH, or other federal biomedical research funding agencies, including familiarity with Other Transaction (OT) agreements and their reporting and payment requirements (e.g., the federal Payment Management System). Experience supporting multi-institutional consortia, human subjects (IRB) or animal research (IACUC) compliance, and/or FDA regulatory submission processes. Experience with data management plans and data-sharing compliance requirements. Anticipated Pay Range $65,000 - $75,000
