Staff_15021 Department Sponsored Programs Administration 50001217 Business Unit Vice Chancellor for Research Reg-Temp Full-Time Regular Work Schedule Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00pm Remote/Telecommuting Hybrid (part-time working on site, part-time working off-site) Position Summary This position will facilitate the research climate at UNMC by assisting faculty and administrators in proposal submission and award processing and management. Specifically, this position will: (1) provide leadership in the administration and coordination of the pre-award and non-financial post award management of sponsored projects supported by federal, state, private, industry and other sponsors, (2) lead and manage the research development initiatives of SPA, (3) direct the daily work flow in the SPA office related to the submission of sponsored projects, (4) fulfill the duties of the director in the director's absence. Technical Knowledge:
A thorough knowledge and understanding of the guidelines, laws and regulations of governmental and private sponsors relating to research grants and agreements to include the Federal Acquisition Regulations, Office of Management and Budget Circular's
