This position provides clerical and office support that helps the institution operate efficiently and effectively. It supports multiple administrative staff and contributes to accurate communication and documentation across departments. As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:Phone and Communication:
Answer incoming calls and direct them to the correct staffDocument Preparation:
Create memos, reports, correspondence, and typed materials using multiple software programsData Management:
Enter information into databases, spreadsheets, and mainframe systems and prepare statistical reportsAttendance Processing:
Record attendance data, resolve errors, and process schedule substitutionsMeeting Support:
Take minutes at meetings and prepare them for distribution after reviewSupply Coordination:

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week. Work hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.Telework:

Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,831 (before taxes). Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); o r Graduation from high school: o r An equivalent combination of experience and training.Additional Requirements :
