Job Description

We are seeking an exceptionally organized, detail-oriented Construction Project Administrator to support the Owner on a high-end residential construction project in Highlands, North Carolina. The Owner is a design builder and is directly involved in the design, budget, and construction decisions. This role provides daily administrative support to the Owner to ensure an efficient building process. Responsibilities Maintain and update contractor contacts and correspondence including sending out architectural drawings, specifications, and contracts; Record receipt of contractor executed contracts and certificates of insurance; Maintain and update master budget Excel spreadsheet with project cost information; Prepare purchase orders and change orders using the project accounting software program Design Manager. With an accounting background, Design Manager is easy to learn; Track production timelines and deliveries of samples and materials; Maintain calendar, arrange meetings and send meeting reminders to Owner, contractors and vendors; Research manufacturers/products to solve issues at hand. The Ideal Candidate College degree in accounting; Experienced in bookkeeping, product procurement, logistics coordination or related operations role; Exceptionally organized and detailed oriented; Excellent written communication skills; Comfortable working with contractors and construction professionals; Familiar with residential construction and construction terminology; Proficient with Excel, accounting software systems and Google Docs; Able to read architectural drawings and specifications; Discrete, trustworthy, professional and a good sense of humor; Able to work independently, anticipate needs and keep channels of communications flowing to Owner.
Pay:
$35.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 32.0 per week
