Project Administrator

Job Description This role provides essential clerical and administrative support to the Gas Work Management Organization. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment and consistently delivers accurate, timely work while maintaining strong communication and customer service standards. Key Responsibilities Manage the application, receipt, distribution, communication, and execution of permits Support the One Call process and ensure accurate site readiness documentation Create, update, and execute WMS/DIS order types Utilize PC applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Prepare professional correspondence and documentation Deliver high‑quality internal and external customer service Assist with customer complaint processes Contribute to administrative improvements and workflow efficiencies Maintain cohesive teamwork and effective communication across the organization Perform general office administration duties Additional Skills & Qualifications Proficient in WMS, CIS, Teams, and Outlook Knowledge of company policies and procedures Basic understanding of the utility industry Experience Level Intermediate Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Merrillville, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
